Roast Goose: A Beast for Feast

At my childhood home this past Christmas. My family ate rather old-fashioned beast. A goose. Goose is an interesting kind of foul all of its meat is dark meat, so if you are a light mea at this is not for you. The flavor of goose meat is beef-like yet very lean feeling which feels paradoxical because If you want to prepare a goose, have a grease trap or mason jars ready, as a goose will drip liters of fat.

It's required that you save that fat in order to fry the goose skin in as it gets crispy like bacon. Plus you can cook some root vegetables with and they will taste so delicious.

There is one down side to a goose however its very small and the wings are not worth saving as they are primarily tendons with little to no meat on the bones

I recommend that everyone should try goose at least once.
